Deep in the frozen woods..

A soul meanders thru

Nomadic for ages

and left without a crew..

Unknowing and unaware,

makes us shed a tear.

Corrupting the inner me,

also the very near.

Dipping the paint brush slow..

in my grimy soul

Painting the inner me,

Starring an immense hole.

Trickling down my even cheeks,

Disturbs my black kohl,

Washing the dust of uneven life,

Off my soiled li'l soul.

I have this inquisitiveness in me to breeze thru all the comments in any article, be it my own blogs or an article in a news site. And that beautiful day was no exception. Article : 'Indians rule at Oz' .and as I was running thru it..I hit on this comment ' The Indian win was a miracle'..But,was it one ..??? I grabbed the dictionary on my left and this was the defn. I found.

1. An effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.

As soon as I read this, I put out of my mind the thought of cricket and started wondering about ..the very word 'Miracle'.

The definition for the word 'Miracle' seems to be changing with Age...which I found when I was in to do a journalist's Job.u guessed it a rite...I did a survey.thou in a small scale.

These were the so called results flashed on: (Qn: Define Miracle).

• My Grandma: Her d-in-law abiding to her words
• My mom: Ekta Kapoor directing a soap starting with 'A'
• My Dad: My Mom asking him to read the newspaper in the morning.
• My Uncle: All his shares soaring in a single day ...
• My Sister: Her hair stops falling down at least for a day.
• My roomie: His girl saying yes for a one night stand.
• My Girlfriend: Her boyfriend (me) telling the truth.

And finally

• My kiddo cousin: The cloud formation representing a DOG in the SUPER BLUE sky.

Take a look again at the results...and which do you really think is a 'REAL' miracle.according to the definition. I found my 'yet-to-go-to-school' kiddo cousin's answer in frequency.

No matter which dumb part of earth you go, people usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth gazing at the starry night as it walks down the sky with the moon in her hand showering innumerable thoughts across our messy li'l minds or to lay on the youthful beach, fighting the waves with your happy-go-lucky heart.

.There are two ways to live:you can live as if nothing is a miracle ; you can live as if everything is a miracle...which way is yours.?

Unknowing and unaware

Purifies the grimy soul within .

For which we always swear

Some call it 'a silent deceit'

Never do they see the inner Pete

Creeping thru our very sense

Lamenting with loads of pain.

Unable to make a trace

I slit thru my flowing vein.

Jus like a total insane

Crying in curtailed want of PAIN.

Not finding the term 'PEACE'.

There is a moment I cry.

And there is another where I try..

I take the path laid..

Stumbling down the stepladder.

I was positioned in the corner..

Swearing on the very fate for my crash,

That once took me to the pinnacle..

I stand..without a hold up

Unaware of the disaster to strike..

Just as the rainbow flickers after the rain.

A smile sparkles behind the pain.

I could feel a warm tap on my ass as the pale breeze tickled me with its sensuous touch. The tap on my ass was from none other than the hottest body we ever knew, the SUN..sending its rays to wake me up. I still wasn't out of my dream.neither did I want to as I was with my firm's HR gal in some exotic place..dancing to a item number. As the song got over, I bid good bye to her and greeted the SUN as I started taking alcoholic steps towards the Loo with the newspaper in one hand and my tooth brush in another.

As I opened the journal, I was taken aback with the headlines, "Stocks hit 17 K in flat 6 days" ...Man!! , I thought, India is going places. India is sure to become a super power. Some one in the Top league of SEBI said " This is a result of the exploration done by the Indian companies and their men in the globalized world " .I thought India's vision of Global Powerhouse by 2020 was achievable. But as I turned to the next page, a picture of few people lying in the streets without a piece of cloth on them disturbed my imagination of a economically sound INDIA. Are we rising as a nation as projected in the media.??...We fail to realize, on the other side of this Booming Economic country...lays a country in dire straits. I began to realize that there are some terrible things which again the same men have failed to explore. ...the MEN themselves are to be explored.....!!

For YOU and ME, the streets are always a means to an end, But we fail to see those, for whom the streets are the very end. They lay there without a smirk .And in this very same country, when the power gets cut for an hour; there are people who create mayhem all over.

On the day when the (great ?) Indian team after the T-20 WC was taken on a cavalcade, The Indian Captain made a statement " I heard Mumbai is always on its toes. We have brought it to a standstill " . A statement of pride was what it was meant to be. But he failed to realize what that meant to the daily wage laborer who lost his bread as he couldn't sail thru the crowd to his workplace, or to the woman who got her place taken by another as she had turned late for work where she earns a pittance for carrying bricks in the scorching sun. She being the lone bread earner in her family of four, had to go without food that day along with her chidren.

Thousands of people went without food on a day of celebration, and the biggest democratic country couldn't do a thing about it..?? .All these so called chiefs of BCCI who happen to be ministers as well as the politicians, were busy endorsing their image for the forthcoming election by being a part of the cavalcade and never for moment did they regret about bringing the so called "Financial capital of India" to a abrupt stall.

But the finger shouldn't alone be pointed at them, it should be pointed at every single individual who failed to see thru the eyes of a common man ...I too shamefully accept being a part of that. We all are blinded with a Cloth ...a cloth which we have donned as a part of our body .It makes us toddle all along our life, unaware and uninterested on what happened to anyone other than our own kith and kin. It gives you a vision without you opening your eyes. It is we ,who have made this choice and it is up to us to remove this cloth and open our beautiful eyes to see the WORLD as it is .

You will realize the change then....Hopefully!!!

Standing there so still, upright...

Myriad ex-pressions escaping like stars that night.

Among a crowd looking so insipid,

Laughing at me without battling an Eyelid..

Like a madman.I stand with perceptions.

Swinging in the pendulum of emotions.

Mocking with the very PEOPLE in the crowd... at ME.

Took my inmate for a swim across my inventive sea.

Named and termed as the RIDICULOUS MAN ..

Engrossed in the mist of solitude without a plan.

I stand a relieved man...

Against a crowd which cries " Do whatever you can !"

As I see the leaves swing up and down the tree.

I understood. I am on the verge of setting FREE .....
